Well - I'm thinking that would depend mostly if your are looking at expending your options towards the higher end of the focal lengths or more interested in wide ange or macro photgraphy. Without knowing your answer I would suggest maybe a 1.4 telecoverter to double you tele and maybe a Canon close -up lens kit or extension tubes for macro. Will not attemt to give you prices but I'll bet you can get all for less then a price of most lenes. Pretty sure B&H Photo carries about anything you want, but I know a couple of weeks ago they were out of the close -up lens kits. Good luck

I am looking at taking better pics close up. I never really thought or know to much about add ons to the lense I have. I would like to at least stay away from the less quality lenses. Thanx for advice

I have a canon 18-200 and not all of the converters work on the mount of that lens. I would check them out because the one I have works with the standard canon lens but not the EFs.

I have the Sigma 18-200, for my T21 and added a Tamron 2.8 17-50 for interiors without a flash. The 3.5/5.6 18-200s are great general purpose for landscape, etc. with plenty of light. As far as extenders.. The APS-C lens (Factor of 1.6) extends the 200 to 320 which is pretty far.

If it were wide angle you were looking for the Tokina 11-16 is terrific but hard to find right now. Others are available which provide the 35mm equivalent of 18-25. All are under $1,00 and very good quality.

I use the 18-200 as my walk around. I am seriously looking at the 24-105 F4L as a christmas present for myself. Probably used to save a few bucks

You need to be a little more specific about what you're trying to accomplish by getting a new lens, and what your budget is. Are you looking for a fast wide angle prime lens? A zoom lens with a shorter focal range? A macro lens? An ultra wide lens for landscapes and cityscapes? A prime or zoom lens for portraits? A lens for low light situations? Or are you looking for a combination of some of the above? What you've asked for is really too vague to give you a useful answer, except by sheer luck.
