Just got back from a Alaskan Cruise. This pic was from Skagway Alaska. I'm thinking of printing and mounting it.

Beautiful picture, I'd definitely print it! Skagway can be a beautiful place when the weather is nice. May I make one little suggestion? Try straightening it. The road looks as though it's going uphill, left to right.

Could be that the road was actually going uphill from left to right?

Ahh I see what you are saying. The raod was downhill in that direction but I'll do that and see what it looks like. Wont tha make the train tracks look crooked then too?

Cheers,
Chris

It's a beautiful picture either way, the only reason I mentioned it was because it's something I do all the time, (I think I hold the camera crooked) so it was the first thing I noticed. If it doesn't work, leave it the way it is. That's one of the blessings about PP, we can always go back. :D

I'm betting it is up hill left to right. Not much is level there. If you do make the road level, the trees will be leaning and I think the whole image will look unnatural, but it doesn't cost anything to try it.

I think you nailed it. Wish I had gotten that shot while there. I'll have to go back and try to find the spot. Maybe next summer.

Put it on your wall!!!

The mountain on the right is taller than the mountain on its left.
Therefor, it needs straightening! Ha Ha

Beautiful shot! Never been, maybe someday.

Suggest that you might crop just a touch off the bottom, as it's a bit out of focus there. Just an inch or so.

Stunning. Love the way the rail leads to the mountains.

The railroad signs are the giveaway. I'm pretty sure they would have been planted perpendicular.

Nice shot. Very dramatic. How does it look with a level horizon? Better or worse?
