Hi This little pop up magnifying glass is really nice.
It's a free little program that can be downloaded and installed.
It gives you a neat virtual magnifying glass to be used on any photo.
I even use it, if the print is too small to read.
For the link, just google search for Virtual Magnifying Glass.
I don't know if its the same sort of thing but Windows already comes with a magnifier ;)
If you use FastStone Viewer, you get that for free, along with all the basic editing options

Start menu > Accessories >Ease of Access (Win 7).
On windows 7 you can magnify some by clicking on 100% in lower right hand corner.

I don't know if its the same sort of thing but Windows already comes with a magnifier ;)[/quote

Thank you, both for the info. I found it in windows
The one in windows robs you of your monitor or at least it did when I first tried it years ago. The virtual one that you can down load will cover the whole monitor or just a small portion and you have your choice of 2x,3x,4x. I use it every day. The best part is that it is free
For many things including this page just hold down the Ctrl and tap the +. And ctrl- will do the opposite.
Works fantastic on Vista :)
I think Virtual Magnifier still has it's place for being quick and like a spot magnifier. I keep it on the task bar.
