Orange Empire Railway Museum on Father's Day

My family went to Orange Empire Railway Museum's Father's Day BBQ. We are members, I and our daughter are in the operations department.
Locos Chloe and Emma Nevada. Formerly of the Ward Kimball family's Grizzly Flats RR in their backyard at San Gabriel California.
Chloe is a 1917 Baldwin 0-4-2RT and ran in the Kimball family backyard until 2006.
Emma ran there until about 1956 and came to OERM in '92. She is an 1881 Baldwin 'Mogul' 2-6-0.
They are 3 ft gauge and live at OERM now where they are a very popular attraction.
Father's Day was breezy (nice in the shade where we had the BBQ) and occasional dust devils coming in off the nearby farm areas so everything was getting a layer of dust like we hadn't cleaned anything in a couple of years. Engine sheds were open for public so wind came right in and light ranged from glaring sunlight near doors to deep shadows in the middle of the building. Plus my daughter and I each thought the other one had brought a tripod, so hand held even indoors was the order of the day.

Great photos. No apologies necessary. You and Jasmine did very well. You also have a nice looking family. Better buy a shotgun to keep the boys away from Jasmine. She is a beautiful young lady.

Thanks, I own a "few" guns and Jasmine has a boyfriend plus a fairly large circle of protective friends at UCLA. Would you believe that the guys in the late night study group escort the girls to their dorms and stand by until their doors are closed and locked. There are still a lot of good men and boys around, no matter what the news shows.

Of course I believe it. There are still mostly nice people on the planet. Unfortunately the bad ones get the publicity. Not much news in being nice these days.
