I love the purple Iris..it's one of my favorite flowers. Here are a few of mine
I've been on a quest to find the perfect bird of paradise flower, a quest that started with a trip to Los Angeles (from Texas) back in 1978. The flowers are very long lasting and therein lies the problem. As soon as they start blooming they start dying; the oldest part is deteriorated by the time the newest part starts blooming. A few weeks ago I got close, real close.
