I'm sure most of you will have heard of Robert Burns but for those that haven't == Robert Burns was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language, although much of his writing is also in English and a light Scots dialect, accessible to an audience beyond Scotland.
I was in Alloway recently and took a photo of his birthplace which is now a museum in his honour.

Robert Burns.
Nice photo of the Burns cottage.
My first name is Robert. I was named after the poet, as was my father, as was my first born. Scottish family tradition.
Sirius - Thanks for your poetic comment.
