Fathers are people who donated a sperm to a woman.
Daddy, Pop, Old Man, Baba, Popi and many other words
is a man who provides for, protects, teaches and loves his children.
To all of you... Thank you for all that you do and
Happy fathers Day.

Well, how very nice, and thank you!!
Let's not forget the single moms out there. They raise their families performing the role of both Mother & Father. They have a rough row to how.
Thank you so much, Ellen. This is a particularly nostalgic Father's Day for me. Forty- three years ago, my bride went into labor with our first daughter on Father's Day . She would deliver our eldest three days later. Four and a half years later our youngest daughter was born. Over the years, my girls have given us five wonderful grandchildren. Of this I am happy and proud beyond belief. However, the last Sunday in April, The Lord called the love of my life home. That makes this holiday both sad and happy. Even though I am spending this day with my children and grandchildren, there is something missing, so"Papa" is dealing with all of the emotions that this old man can handle. Happy Father's Day to you all.

I hear your pain and let me assure you your love is still with you. Go forth with much pride and dignity
....it isn't always easy to be a man with a family...I understand that. I saw my own father struggle to live on without my mom ( the love of his life). He did live on with pride that he had a long marriage and they conquered many troubled times as I am sure you and your wife did.
Be very proud of the loving respectable family you created.
Bravo Bravo

I was a single mom for one child then, I had a husband and father for another two children.
I am not your traditional stay at home woman, BUT I will say that there is NO SUBSTITUTE for a MALE FATHER.
