I agree, us Canon guys just take pictures rather than quibble endlessly about what new lenses to buy, or bodies. I also shoot Canon because of the Canon support via their nearby, to me, service center which is accessible, super fast and reasonably priced.

Just wondering why I hardly ever see anything from Canon users? Too many lenses with Canon to change now. But I still love this site and have learned soooo much- I'm still a newbie.

An attempt to hide your shame? I'm just guessing now, mind you, but it was the first thing that came to mind! :D

heh-heh - no it just means our negatives and wet prints are much better than anything created by digital imaging devices - which, by the way, are on their way out (ah, so sad).

Don't be too smug now! I heard Polaroid is updating it's instant cameras with a brand new onboard Adobe program called "Photo Shop Instant". It will include a light hood on the camera so you can do your darkroom work right on the spot! Should be a big hit for selfies as well as "Emulsion Masochists"! :D

General Comment on a couple of posts here:

1.) Polaroid is very "in" right now - you just never know what's going to happen. A camera shop here runs out of them almost every week and keeps increasing their stock.

2.) I have an adult son that has business ties to Japan and he says that they are getting ready to market some new kinda "gee whiz" high tech imaging system that is NOT compatible with today's digital.

Save yer Green Stamps up, people - I've never seen anything change and get cheaper - since transistor radios in the 1950's!

I did, but we had to get rid of it. She said that taking care of the burro just took too much time away from tending to my needs! I tried to tell her that she could just get up earlier and go to bed later, but she insisted that the burro had to go. I complied because I place great importance on making her happy! :D

With my luck at marriages, I'd have kept the burro.

my late spouse, Erica, and i were together for 36 marvelous years. she hated developing and loved printing. i loved developing and hated printing. she was as good, if not better, a photographer than me. pretty much soulmates. i daily rejoiced in my great fortune to have her in my life, and miss her terribly.

i wish you both the very best of luck, and don't take any day for granted!

Thanks for this message and I'm sorry for your loss. My Trophy Wife and I are still on our honeymoon. And, being a 100% disable vet that has had no health stability since September, 1967, I never take any day for granted.
