These pictures are beautiful and your children are adorable.

What lens did you use for the pictures? Very good and tack sharp!

Thank you for sharing.

Nikon d7100: Pencils was done with the Tokina 100mm / f2.8 and the others Nikon 50mm / f1.4. Two of my favorite lens. I didn't know about the swings but to me it's the symmetry that I find intriguing. I like photographs with uniformity as well as chaos. On the other one, 3yo grandson was teaching my 1 yo granddaughter a game on an older iPad I've given them to play on. He's very patient with her (most of the time, lol).

Thanks for input. It helps me as a photographer to see of others see what I see.

Thank you for the information about the lens you used. The pencils are excellent. Your grandchildren seem fascinated with the iPad. :)

Yes he (and somewhat her) loves the games. I just don't allow too much time on it. I focus more on outside play but it was pouring rain that day. I think in the correct way, kids can learn some great skills with the learning games on it.

I do too. As it is now, children are attached to electronic devices too early and it has too much an influence over them.

Like the pencils had to look closer to see what they were.

True. I limited my kids inside time. Both played sports from early age. My son and I went camping at least twice a month with Church group we were involved in. My grandkids parents promote outside play and sports as well. Both of mine had time limits on all electronics including tv.

Parents today just aren't as involved as parents of years past. Too busy working for $$ and stuff.

Great family traditions, outside house involvement, church group etc. Kudos, our country is still going strong in cases like yours. Thanks, keep shooting including outdoors.
