Hi
I have a photo I am starting to sell. I want to get a Copyright Stamp, Symbol on the Photo. Where do I put it? On the back I assume? Do you know if I can buy a Rubber Stamp to do this or have it printed some how?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Cassy
Thanks! I was just there before I asked the question on here :-)

You can add an unobtrusive copyright notice to the front using PhotoShop. However, any printed or stamped notice can be removed. You can protect a single print with an embossment, but that will still not thieves who scan your picture. You know you already hold the copyright on the photo. A wise step would be registration of that copyright at:
http://www.copyright.gov/eco/This method alows you to register an electronic version of your copyright.
A question! Is the print large enough that an embossing stamp could be concealed under the mat? If so, see if your local county government will register the original print and emboss it on a wide white border (I did so with a historical document; inasmuch as it was the only copy, the original was returned to me and a color copy served as the county's copy). Between that, registration of the copyright and a © notice, your picture will be protected as well as it can be. If it is counterfeited, you will at least have legal recourse.

HI, I am going to register the picture. I have sold 2 so far and I just wrote on and the back that they were copy right protected. I am not sure if there is enough room to hide the emboss under the map. It would have to be small. There is at least room to put a C under the mat. Thanks, appreciate the help.
