I have notice that a lot of UHH's are not posting information about themselves. I can understand some of the reasons for this, however if someone gives comments on something that is posted, it would be nice to see what their background in photography is.

Dont worry about that, it wont take you very long at all to find out who the members are like me who know nothing and those who really know their stuff.
By the way welcome aboard!
You ever heard the old saying "He might be the best mechanic in the country, but that's only on Chevy's."
That's like me. But applied to photography. I know a lot, done a lot, but with only one kind of camera and one medium, film.
So I don't really give too much advice on digital camera operation. But digital or film, I do know what it takes to make a good photo....As long as the camera is a Chevy.

I posted mine but few actually read it. Understandable, it is a novella.

Same with me. Just my Navy experience over the course of 16 years on active duty and ready reserve is a very convoluted tale.

Ditto; the experience is over 40+ years, but not relevant - at least to me. Enjoy the posts of others, and learn something everyday. Telling someone how good (or not) I am - I'm ambivalent. Just enjoy the pics. We have many newcomers that share some awesome stuff! I'm wowed by the work of Vivian Maier (vivianmaier.com), an obscure nanny, who never revealed to the world the stunning 100,000+ photos, slides, and hundreds of rolls of undeveloped film that came to light after her storage unit rent went unpaid after her death. Amazing, unsung and unknown b+w photographer who simply loved the art! She is MY champion of the art.
I HATE PHOTOGRAPHERS!

We have been without power from 1/18/12 untill 1/22. We had a heck of a snow storm putting 250,000 folks in my area without service. Although I had a generator, my internet modem was not working.
I didn't expect any comments to my post, but I appreciate your comments.
Keep your 6 guns hostered Vern. Nothing wrong with Chev's, I had a 55, a 56, and a 57 convertible and that was a lemon.
I also enjoyed the work of Vivian Maier.
