Chicago in HDR

Got the winter blahs so starting playing around with some pictures I took out the car window while in Chicago. Shot with canon 60D with kit lens on auto. Really just started out as snap shots with no for thought every thing else was PP sorry it is not true HDR it tonemapped from a single shot

The Halo effect really seems to detract from the image. Any way to remove it?

I liked the halo effect. I made the adjustment for it, but I guess it not for everybody. I was looking to bring out the buildings from the background.

I like the halo too. Otherwise to me, it's an enriched picture.

Chicago always interest me the tall buildings are very interesting I live close to Milwaukee and thier sky line is very minor to Chicago good photos. Here is a photo of M. Monroe in the Down town area of Chicago. Wayne------
