Kicking out (another surfing photo)

At the end of a wave the surfer kicks out......in this case the surfer waited about as long as he could and got the splash of water in his face. The light on the spray is captivating to me. This is another image where it is much better viewed after downloading it!

This photo is just so dynamic! Especially how the surfer and water dramatically collide - a powerful depiction of Man versus Nature. Among your many surfing pics, this is certainly one of the best I think. Thanks for sharing, Brent!

Thank you pixelmaven........but in defense of this surfer, my guess is that he wanted to milk the wave for ALL that it had to offer before it closed out on him.

Fantastic shot, definitive moment! Love the water spray over the surfer and over the wave ridge, and love the way the light comes through the rise of the wave. Spectacular image, Brent.

I really like this shot, it is so sharp and the color and details of everything including the drops is right on, giving is a strong impact. Nice work.
