Yes I will and thank you . I hope to get to some of the more Real desolate tribal haiti soon!
I lived in Port-au-Prince for 10 years so can relate to the pictures - can smell the heat. BTW - that was from 1947 to 1957 - another lifetime.

Having spent some time in my travels to both the western and eastern caribbean I have seen some beautiful images of island life. The local people are for the most part helpful and verty photogenic. They do lend themselves to being photographed and are eager to please you(sometimes for cash). They do love to clown around for the camera, especially the younger children.
Most of my images are recorded on film and I wish I had more on digital.
I love photographing the old buildings and street life in all its spleandor.
Good for you! ( needless to say be very careful ) 8-)
Are you a missionary, or in the peace corps?

I am a Missionary but can't say the name without it being filtered first.Yes the people are great!. The Org won't let me go alone. But I do tend to stray off every now and then...

Love the colors in the photo with the boy holding the soccer ball on the beach. Would love to do a mission trip in Haiti too! These are poignant and well done.
