Hi guys, I recently down loaded the 30 day trial of Topaz Photo Software, and I"ve been playing with it, and some of its features, I was wondering, how many of Topaz features have some of you experienced users, purchased? , have you purchased the entire suite?..........I was wondering what your reccomendations would be, Up untill now, I have been useing Nikon"s NX-2 Software
but I like the more so creative freedom, that Topaz offers
any Ideas??

I use the Topaz Clarity and DeNoise 5 tools.

What order of post processing is best for the best results. Is it best to remove imperfections, unwanted items like power lines or trash, blemishes, etc. My last step has always been to sharpen but other things as I see them. Would it be better to use Topaz filters, the clone tool, color correction or what; first, second, third, etc.. I know this question has come up before but not in great detail. I need a refresher on the subject and I think many of the newer members would find it very informative.

The first thing to do is DeNoise to get rid of the noise other wise everything else you do will heighten the noise and make it a lot harder to remove. Go to YouTube.com/ Topazlabs. They have good webinars there explaining all their products and why DeNoise should be used first....Rich

Thanks, for the advice, Rich........I will wait based on your advice, till they have a decent discount!

When you take one their free streaming seminars they send you a discount coupon.

I have the suite. I use Remask, Adjust, and Clarity most. Denoise is great when needed.

Workflow depends on what you intend to do. I always start with basic adjustments in Lightroom because I mostly take RAW images. If Remask is involved I do that next. I usually finish with Adjust or Clarity.

Thanks for that. Looks like I need to try some changes in my workflow.

I find some things easier to do in Lightroom or Photoshop and like the seamless ability to use them.

i recently let my Topaz Complete Collection trial expire deliberately to see what they would do. Because I had bought the previous Topaz Bundle, my upgrade price was 99.00 until I let the Collection expire and they offered it for 75.00. I bought it right away. The Bundle had been purchased at a substantial discount, so I don't have anywhere near the retail price of close to 400.00 invested in the Complete Collection. I'm thinking I probably paid 165 total.
I probably won't use all of them, but the ones I have tried I really like, especially Simplify.

I have Adjust, Simplify, Clean and enjoy them all. Worth the investment! I buy when there's a 30% discount. Watch their Webinars too.

Thanks Mbom for the chart. Went to Topaz and read the post that the chart was attached to and that was really helpful.
