Welcome to Alaska! even though we are next to Hawaii on the map, our temps are a lot cooler.
nice shots! I'm sure you will get lots more before your trip is over.

Nice. I'm going to Alaska next month. Wht camera/lens combo did you use, and what kinds of settings. The aircraft windows I usually see are a mess. How did you get such clear shots? Thanks

Don't get lost down there... Denali is such a large mountain mass that it creates its own weather; and is often cloudy. Pray for some sun breaks - it truly is a magnificent peak. Years ago, back in the mid 80's, I summered in Anchorage and my uncle and I took an unforgettable trip up to the entrance of Denali National Park. We were out of season for being able to drive into the park but on the way up stopped at a little town along a river (where nearly all attempts to climb it originate from - Talkeetna, I believe) where we got some nice pictures of both Denali and Mt. Foraker (on film - well, Kodachrome 64 slide film), the larger mountain (it would be if it had a peak anyway) further West (Mt. Hunter is the smaller peak in between them, when I say smaller I mean of the size of Mt. Rainier - heigth-wise anyway) when you're in Talkeetna facing more or less North: if I remember it correctly. Enjoy your trip! I look forward to some more pics posted from you...
Thanks for sharing.
