I purchased a Yongnuo speed lite and wireless trigger transceivers. Flash mounted on Canon 5d MarkIII works, but when mounted on transceiver for off camera flash nothing works. Any clues as to how to set it up? Manual is translated into weird English and gives me problems. Dumb about this stuff!

When you say "nothing works" do you mean no power or are you saying "no ETTL works"?

With transceiver on camera, flash and 2nd transceiver on separate stand, I click shutter button and flash doesn't fire.

And by 'up and running' I was referring to enabling flash on camera.

if its the same as the 603 there are dip switches in the battery compartment i found i had to move 1 of the switches before mine worked.
for actual use a half press on the shutter should wake up the trigger and then a full press should make the flash fire. (unless its gone to sleep).

Might think about learning to back button focus, it has worked great for me.

Does that mean everything is now working, or only partly working.
With the flash on the camera, it may need to be in commander mode.
With the flash wireless and off camera, it may need to be in slave mode.
Thats suppoesed to be a nice unit. Good luck. ;-)
