Thanx Jen...Snow in CT? If you ski, hurry up before it melts. My cousin in Naugatuck skies on the rail-trail to Cheshire, Hamden >> Cheshire I think. The last time he did it he left on skis and walked back...the snow had melted.

BTW as I took that pic, a bit further on I had to turn around because of low visibily and the plow had not gone through yet

"No two snowflakes are alike".
I wonder how many snowflakes the originators of this statement compared before they made that conclusion.

Welcome to Québec and come see a bit of our winters.

Feel free to share yours ... I love winter!

Love your snow pictures, especially the one with the barn and blowing snow.

Took this last Sunday morning standing in my backyard. I snowed on Saturday and Sunday morning was clear and frosty. The sun soon melted the frost off the trees, but was so pretty while it lasted. By the end of the day, the snow was pretty much gone too.

These are nice photos Roadrunner. I was in Montreal in May about 3 years ago and was disappointed that I couldn't get up to Quebec City. Montreal was a beautiful city.

Quebec, Quebec. The city so grand they named it twice. Anyway, it's my favorite city, I love it there and hope to make it back some day.

Should I go for winterfest?

Yes, the Winter Carnaval is neat. How neat? The locals hang out at thesame places as the tourists.

There will be canoe races acros the river, ice canoes. Hopefully I'll get some photos.

The mayor is going all out to promote the city.

My skis!

That#3 is a sort of legally tricked shot, like being there at the right moment as the farmer was blowing snow with his tractor and the wind carried it making it look like a kind of whiteout.

But, believe me that it does get like that.
