I was out the other night shooting at the lake, I shot these in bulb, ISO 100 using a 55 - 300, I"ll let you guys try and explain what's going on

no camera shake at all, shot with a tripod, vr off using remote release in bulb

Is there an airport just over the trees? Pictures 3 and 6 are very shaky for a modern earth bound airliner, or they could be reflections off the lake of landings and takeoffs.

Close enough, There was a 5 county fire helicopter training for night vision goggles while fighting a man made fire. It went on from 9 pm, Until 1:30 am, about 6 choppers and 2 spotter planes at Britte Lake here in Ca. They were not dipping water directly from the lake, they had set up a portable tank in a ravine and the helicopters followed a GPS to the tank
