Here is a link to an E-book on making digital prints. I haven't read it yet but for the price it is worth the info. $4.00 http://craftandvision.com/books/making-the-print/

You are recommending a pay article without reading it? I can't see how that is a subjective opinion.

I believe it is subjective to the point that the poster believes that regardless of the information, $4.00 is of little or no value. Which can be debated either way.

I just went to the link and downloaded the free book they have. It is 61 pages and in color. Will download the rest of their books later. They appear very informative. Oh! and I printed a couple of pages and they printed fine. They print in landscape mode.

Thanks Jambulee for the link.

My britches would be all wadded up if no one shared links to help with the learning process. Thanks for sharing the link. I would like my printing to be just as professional as everything else.

Well I was able finally to start reading this book on Kindle fire as I was waiting in the Social Security office today. And I found it right on.

Now for a confession: I have been printing my photos and other peoples photos for years. Before the digital age I was a custom color printer for two professional Labs; Bay Photo in Aptos CA and Photec in San Diego Ca plus learning the trade before that at a 1 hour lab [they had a CC section] in Bakersfield CA, plus having my own darkroom for B&W. In the digital age I belonged to a photo club called Darkroomers., we were to submit for judging once a month images we had printed and mounted ourselves. My current printer is an Epson 3800. I still consider the print mounted and hung the goal of my workflow.

I found what I have read so far excellent and easy to understand and will help anyone who wants to make a fine digital print. I skipped forward to the section on canvas printing and stretch frame mounting for a triptych I am doing for our bedroom. Just this section alone saved me a lot of money and the trouble of doing it myself. I'll pay Bayphoto to do it for me.

Thank you all for your kind remarks and good luck with your digital prints.

David
