Hello; I am new to the forum. I consider myself a good photogrpaher. Not a professional by any means, but I have been into photography off and on for the last 20 years mostly as a well loved hobby. Made the transition to digital about 10 years ago. My cameras are the CanonEOS20 and the Canon60D. Lense that I own: EFS18-55(F/3.5-5.6) EFS-17-55(f/2.8 IS USM),EF 50mm (f/1.8),. EF 75-300(f/4.5-6)IS; 18-135 and a Tokina11-16(f/2.8) My flash units are; a Canon 430ex and a Yongnuo Speedlite.
Hoping to learn from the seasoned photographers. I am 2 years into retirement so I have plenty of time.
One question I have before I start posting questions is; Is there away to search for concerns/conversations before posting as to not duplicate something that has already been asked?

Welcome to our forum!
You can enter your location if you go back to your profile. That way, when people offer answers, they can tie them in to your location.
The Search feature is only as good as the titles people use. "Help" is not going to anyone any good in a Search. "Canon 7D..." would be a good title for a search. Basically, using Search is hit or miss. You can click on "Advanced options" and then check the box on the right to have them listed with the most recent first.
You're better off posting your specific question and title.
Look at the very top of the UHH page, click on any of the "Topics" that are there and it will take you to all past conversations, Q&A etc.

Welcome to the Hog, Ed. You'll find lots of friends & plenty of good advice here. At the top of the page is a "search" link. You should be able to find almost any topic you're looking for.
Welcome to the Hog, Will. Better posting you question or using Google. The search function is pretty shabby. ;)
