I picked this lens up second hand and have had good use of it, but want to upgrade to something that will autofocus on a D5200. It will only autofocus on a body that has a built-in focus motor and can take some nice sharp images. It's in great shape with no fungus or huge marks.

If it has a built in focus motor, it should AF with your D5200....Just researched it & it appears that this one does not have a built in focus motor... (price seems a bit high as well)... The Sigma 150-500 replaced this model...

In your original listing you said will only autofocus on body with built in focus motor. No typo there that I can see. You are exactly right. This lens has to be used on a BODY, as you said, with built in focus motor.

I corrected it after the post, typed the opposite of what I meant on the first time. It works fine in manual focus on other bodies like my D5200. It's honestly been a good exercise for me in doing manual focus, I'm glad I had the lens but am going in a different direction now.
