Great shots of Sedona AZ! I spent many summers on slide rock at Oak Creek Canyon.... #2 is my favorite.

Thank you! So appreciate your comments. I'm attending the annual Sedona Photofest and a workshop with Jennifer Wu.

I went to Sedona in 2012 for the very first time ... and just fell in love with that whole area. In fact it's one of the few places on my 'where to move when I finally retire' list ...

Thanks for the memories!!!

Living in the Phoenix area I've been to the Sedona several times and those giant rocks have a different look every time I'm up there.

Nice shots... well done.

Can any of you who know Sedona explain how the trees and shrubs stay lush green amid the parched red rocks? We even see trees even growing out of the rocks! Everywhere!

Part of the reason is Oak Creek. This creek flows through the canyon in which Sedona is located. Another is the rain fall. Sedona gets a bit more rain throughout the year than the desert area south, Phoenix.
