I was playing around still trying to learn the controls on the camera so I mounted the flash on it, set the timer and walked over and sat down in front of the lens and waited sure enough the flash winked at me then went off. I figured it would be out of focus. i increased the exposure and fiddled with WB in Light Room but I was impressed by what the camera did all by itself. Shot at 105mm F4 TTL flash bounced of ceiling at about 8 ft.
I like it except for the lamp shade surrounding your head. You look very serious as if someone else was taking the photo.
I know the lamp shade was there but I did not expect the camera to focus me in the shot, i am still playing with different settings. As for being serious, thats my tired brain fried look.
I often have to remind myself to look beyond my subject to make sure I don't have any trees or objects pokeing out of the head. Just try to pratice the idea of taking a momment to look past the subject to see what else the camera might capture.

I like this self portrait. Can't wait till I learn to send pictures, even though I don't have a good camera.
