Last June is South West Colorado we had a HUGE fire and may well again this year with all the dead pines due to beetle kill. About a month after the fire the Fireweed Flowers were beautiful against the blackened trees. It could be called beauty & destruction.

All that destruction and then beauty emerges from the ash. Such hope, such resolve, such mercy.

Very nice set; good consistency in color contrasts, lighting, and overall effect.

Nice shots, Beetles are a big problem and the only way to stop them is thin trees and have large gaps in the stands of pine trees. Beetles can not travel far looking for pines to kill.
