these guys had places to be! i don't usually photograph mallards much... they're common as dirt here, and are often more of a nuisance than a subject. but in flight, they're often very graceful (as well as very fast!), and every once in a while i'll shoot some just for practice.... ;-)

thanks! these were shot with a Sigma EX80-400 at 400mm, 1/1000-1/1250 @ f/8...
