Well I COULD be wrong bu when I look through the viewfinder I see that famous square box inside, I would say this is not full frame or am I mistaken.
This is a AF Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8 lens.

You are absolutely mistaken. Your lens was made in old days of only 35mm film cameras, pre-digital. No such thing as DX anything back then. Your lens was actually made in 2 incarnations, the original AF F2.8 made from 1990 to 1993, and the later AF F2.8D made from 1993 to 2006, which contained a "D" chip to transmit Distance information to the camera body and the flash unit as well. VR was added when the lens was Gelded "G" in early 2006 and that version continues today.
ALL DX type lenses clearly say "DX" in the lens description on the body of the lens so there is never any confusion.
