Large aquarium

I was in the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga with my camera. Shot without any flash and of course had to use slow shutter and pretty high ISO.
Here are some samples but, I'd like any suggestions for getting better clarity.

It is tough shooting through glass. It does not help that the light was so poor. Not sure what a remedy might be.

I've had some luck with getting close, like contact close if allowed, use rubber lens hood too.

Shot at Mystic Aquarium recently and had the same problems. Next time will try holding lens against the glass.
