I see a growing trend at this site where more and more people have resorted to name calling. and totally immature behavior. I have enough grief in my life without adding this site to the list. I have asked questions, and have been ripped, having been told it is "none of my business what they do". Others have been called every name in the book if they offered a differing opinion. To those I have helped, I hope you continue to grow. To those who act like a bunch of spoiled brats, how many others, who have a wealth of knowledge to share, are you going to drive away?

I for one am sorry you're leaving even though I understand what you are saying unless I am one that you refer to in which case I have no idea what your are talking about. I too have seen such a trend and have found myself ignoring a lot more posts than in the past - but yet sometimes - it works.

This forum has got too many members, not to have a moderator or two.
In life, there is a certain percentage of rude, arrogant and insulting people. This forum is not immune to that formula.
It will continue to get worse, if people do not start getting warned and eventually banned for inappropriate behavior.
Just my 2.5 cents!

while i perhaps have not suffered the slings and arrows that you have, i've certainly seen it, and it's disturbing. that sort of thing has no place on a forum like this.
i've tried, since i joined, to not only share my work with others, but also to help, advise, and offer suggestions to those perhaps less knowledgeable or experienced than i am. to the extent that others have benefited from my words, i am happy. to the extent that others have offered words of praise or advice on my own work, i am grateful. but if the current trend of contemptuous, inflammatory rhetoric continues, i'll be out of here too. there are a lot of other forums out there, and i belong to many of them. i don't need the childish, petulant commentary of some people here, and frankly, i'm about done with it myself....

For the most part people here are helpful.
After I red 1 obnoxious post from a participate I don't bother to read their input at all anymore (that is why I like avatars) they are quick to identify and I scroll past those people.
It also seems that generally those that are here just to be annoying soon leave--especially if no one comments on them/their posts.

yeah really...i almost started a thread just like this to ask WHAT IS GOING ON? then didnt. But now that you mention it too, i just have to say so many threads that I looked at tonight had some really nasty stuff going on. name calling and taking sides and all kinds a crazy stuff.

What are the novices like me that really want to learn and to improve going to do without your input? True there are others but I personally rank your suggestions, tips and knowledge from the school of experience near the top of my list

I have just learned to ignore the rude and offensive. I don't usually respond to their posts or comments. It would be sad to lose your input and deprive the majority who are here to learn. I hope you change your mind and just ignore the bad behavior.

unfortunately every forum on every subject matter has a certain number of jerks. I believe that it came about after congress passed the jerk redistribution act of 2001. no matter where you go there always gonna be some people suffering from rectal cranium disease. Its gotten worse as civility and good manners have become scarce. just roll with the punches ignore those who iritate you, and help those you can. Remember life is too short to sweat the small stuff. if it isn't about life, death and where you'll spend eternity its small stuff.
