I am a long time Olympus fan, I have been using them since I purchased and OM-10, then an OM-1 and a variety of lenses. A few years ago I got into Digital with an E-620 and am now up to an E-5. I have a variety of digital lens and am looking for a super telephoto, something 200-500 say, that won't break the bank. I currently have a 50mm F2, a 12-60, a 50-200, 7-14, 14-35, 35-100 with teleconverters and extension tube. Has anyone tried a Sigma lens with the E-5, and your results and impressions. Or any others. Any suggestions, I do everything from Macro to landscape, animals in the wild, you name it, I'll try it. Thanks
For my canon 60D, of the 11 lenses I have, 3 are sigma lenses including the 150-500mm. They all work great.
holy cow!! two of us now......keep your head down!! all the Nikonians have their cross-hairs on us! HA we're wearin' 'em down!!
Okay, Okay....you kidding....Nikon is the predominant camera shot on this site, but the folks couldn't be of more help. I shoot an E-420....I've had GREAT luck on of all places e-bay. bought my Zuiko 11-22 used on there and it is fantastic. Have you tried any "local" camera stores near you? I purchased my 40-150 Zuiko there and it is serving me quite well......good luck and stay low!!!

There are at least Three of us, and one is a convert from Nikon---Recently sold Leica M6 and 2 Nikons in favor of mobility and acquired EP3 and added a 12mm-f2.0 with intent of building complete system....The lens is producing GREAT things!!

Yet another Olympus user here. You seem to have all the bases covered with your list of lenses. I have heard the quality control of Sigmas can be suspct but others swear by it. You might want to post this question on this web site:

RobertW, how do you like the EP3, I shoot Olympus P&S's but I am interested in the EP3, does lack of aview finder hamper your picture taking efforsts.

I'm an Olympus convert as well, probably because I live about five miles from the Olympus USA headquarters. Also shooting with an E620. I'm looking to step up to a higher grade lens than the two intro lens that came with my package. Any suggestions, Olympus fans?
I am an Oly fan. I have an E-30, 50-200mm F2.8, 11-22mm and 14-54mm 2.8-3.5 II. I also have a 35mm 3.5 Macro lens.
I am considering buying a telecoverter, any suggestions?
Of course it depends on your budget. I have the 12-60 and the 50-200 which are really good lenses. However if you are on a tighter budget the 14-54 has many backers and though it hunts like mad the 70-300 takes remarkably sharp photos. If you are into prime lenses the 50mm is still my favorite.
I smell a conspiracy! It should be illegal for more than two Olympians to converse in the same public thread.
Which brings up a good point. Maybe we should petition for Admin to create new discussion categories, such as:
All Things Olympus
All Things Nikon
All Things Canon
All Things Fuji
All Things 4/3rds
All Things Macro
All Things Sigma
All Things P&S
All Things (make your suggestions here).
Whatcha think?

I'm ecumenical, but don't mind worshipping at the church of Olympus. Or Nikon, etc.
Get a grip. It's pictures here.
