This is the link for the original posting in the Photo Gallery:

I see we already had a suggestion from Treepusher to crop a bit off the bottom, so we've already has some good ideas floated on this one. I, personally, would like to see someone apply Fractalius so we get a true "burning bush" effect (or should I say "volcanic eruption" effect?)

I actually tried a different approach as an experiment. I put this image through Topaz Simplify, Line and Ink III, then totally desaturated the results so I ended up with a detailed sketch with some fancy designwork in the flower and grasses. But rather than leave it as B&W, I blended it back into the original image, deciding I like the original colors, but with some interesting line work to go with it. This is how it turned out.

While I like Fractalius as much as anyone (blended 3 layers of it into the flower blossom), I wanted to have some fun with the rest of the image, sections that some other folks were cropping out. Topaz Star Effects added some interesting glints in those deep grasses, while NIK Color Efex Photo Stylizer and Darken/Lighten center did the rest.

I had to give it some black basalt for a background.
