I have a problem with which I hope my fellow hogs can help. I have over 1100 albums uploaded to my Picasa web site. Yesterday, in the middle of an upload process, the program stopped working at 88% of photo #17 of a total of 37 pictures. I have used 50 gigs and have another 47gigs available. Despite writing multiple emails to Picasa over the past few weeks I have not had a reply to any of my questions. Some time ago Google inserted another page to my web site and I am having nothing but trouble with this site and program. My Mac Book Pro is working well and I can access other sites without a problem. Can anyone help me with the upload process and with getting Picasa to answer my emails? Do any of you suggest going to a different program and storage site? Any help will be appreciated.

I use picasa all the time but only on my external hard drives. Tera byte drives are cheap now.

I have a problem with which I hope my fellow hogs ... (show quote)

Since Picasa Albums became Google+, I'm not happy with the way it works. Basically, there is no Picasa Album service anymore. It's now Google+.

I had a problem recently, and a member told me how to solve it. Good luck.

This is perplexing. I use Picasa from time to time but have never had an upload problem like you describe. I wonder if it's possible that you have a corrupted photo that Picasa can't read and that's what is causing the hang up. You might try deleting photo #17 from the upload batch and see if that resolves the problem.

Thanks but I didn't mention that the program hung up on photo #3 before that happened. I thought if I reloaded Picasa that wouldn't happen. I appreciate the response but don't think that's it.

Thanks very much, that was a big help in avoiding the Google page. However, I still can't upload any photos now.

I am totally frustrated with Picasa's lack of customer service. Do you think I should try emailing Google?

What kind of notices? I'm aware of Updates when the three bars at the top right turn green, but am otherwise not notified and worry there is something else going on here.

a pyramid of colored balls bounces on my dock . when i click on
it , a square comes up with a line stating to upgrade picasa . this
happens when i am not running picasa .
