Hi,
I have a canon 10D with a canon ultrasonic 58mm zoom EF 28 - 80mm lens. Will this lens work with the new canon bodies?

EF and EFS lenses will fit on newer bodies.
EFS lenses will not fit on my D60 which is a couple of generations older than your 10D.

If it's a full frame canon the ef-s lens will not work..

EF lens will work with any Canon EOS cameras. You only have to be careful of the EFs lenses. They will only work with some cameras.

The lens will work on any Canon DSLR. On a crop sensor C series it will be a 44.8-128 mm. Is the the I, II, III, or IV version?

Easy to tell. If the lens mount on the Canon camera has both a white square and a red dot the camera will take both mounts. EF is the red dot. EF-S is the white square.
