Hi All,

I think there is potential with this photo. I've tried a few basic things but I would like to see what you all can do, including changing the background. I attached the RAW file.

Thanks

You posted a Nikon raw file (.NEF) which most Hoggers cannot view. Here is the converted JPG copy.

Your attachment has come through as a tiny tiff file - too small to see.

You cannot post raw images. Convert your photo to a jpeg, send that and check "Store original"

You were right ..... there is a unique opportunity here to digitize some rather exotic ideations. To me, this almost looks other-worldly, so I went with emphasizing colors by increasing their vibrancy and blending in a pen-and-ink layer to give it the jaggies.

Had a lot of fun playing with this one. Used color range to select old background, but after all is said and done, selecting the folage and then inverting would have been a better option. Took it through Camera raw filter and did a little cropping. Thanks for th lesson.

What an interesting photograph! So well done.

Fractalius (again) then sent through Topaz adjust and again through Fractalius till the color was almost neon. Next, overlaid it with Flaming Pear's India Ink.

As much as I appreciate and strive for the beauty of a fine photograph fresh from the camera, so also do I enjoy playing with that photograph to sort of, make another version of it. It's just another word for fun!

Nice work, I love the India ink overlay, it gives the picture a silk screen effect. I will have to look at my Flaming Pear filters again, because I have not used them in a long time.

veralisa296 I like your rendition... as I say to the Judges at my Camera Club, "what's reality got to do with it?"

I put the nut thru the Topaz sequence and came up with something similar to your photo. Note the flip so that the line of eye flow is lower left to upper right; motion as we read in the Euro/American writing.
