A former silver mining town on Hwy 395 just south of Bridgeport, CA.
Shot #1 is, I think, my best work to date on merged HDR photography. Shot hand held with camera on high speed burst, 3 images.
Shots 2 & 3 were multilayer combinations of enhanced color and a B&W to get a vintage hand colored look.
Comments welcome.

All three are excellent works! I really like the HDR effect in the first one... my eye was caught by the multilayered linoleum! I've seen similar conditions in cabins in the high country around here. Facinating. You might do better with a tripod and slower ISO for noise reduction.
The second and third photos are great! You've inspired me to try my hand at that technique. Thanks for the effort!

Great set. I've been to Bodie long ago and was not into photography at the time.
The divan in the first shot is a big surprise. Reminds me of one of my favorite sculptures. Search on Images with "villa guilia pauline bonaparte" to see what I mean.

Someone posted some shots of Bodie a year or so ago, so I enjoyed seeing your very nicely done version.
I like them all, but #1 is my favorite.

Bodie was not a silver mining town, it was a gold mining town. The large gold mine is on the north east side of the town. Unfortunately gold deposits have been found by a large mining corporation and there is an effort to open a large mine near the borders of Bodie.. There has been a large outcry to stop this mine.

 I guess I was referring to your past post. BTW: I enjoyed your Flicker site. You've really gotten around and have a wonderful collection of shots to prove it. Very nice.
