Hello all,
I am considering making a photo book...
and have devised some steps as shown below...
1.Design scheme, or story.
2.Pick images and resize to the size of the book.
3.I want images to fill the pages...I already have text
on the images.
4.Check spelling on text, sequence images, make book.

Any and all advice is very much appreciated.
Thanks all,
Bertnie

Have you checked out blurb.com? They are a photobook company and have free software with many different layouts and themes. You can publish and sell. http://www.blurb.com/

If you use a Mac, you can do all this in iPhoto. I have made dozens of different photo books this way. You can choose hardcover or softcover, you can do light editing within the program, you can put two or more images per page, etc.

Google MyPublisher. They have free software for download and is easy to use. I've made at least a dozen books with them. Tried a couple of others and went back to MyPublisher. The quality is outstanding and they often have big discounts. I think you can even make your first book free.

I have used Blurb for a number of books, their quality is excellent, the BookSmart program is a free download and easy to use. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I use lightroom 5. The Book tab has the blurb layouts when you upload you get a price back. So far i have made three photo books, all of which Blurb did a great job.

I have used Shutterfly a number of times...very reasonable and easy to use. Check that resource out, as well.

I have used Blurb most recently directly from LR5 with nice success, but have also liked results from MyPublisher, and Shutterfly. All can do what you are wanting to achieve.

I feel the same way about My Publisher. I receive email coupons all the time from them. I have always been very happy with the paper and color quality of the books I have made from them.

If your expectations are not sky high, you will find Shutterfly books are decent and easy enough to produce. Upload your pics and use their software to custom design your book. I have made at least 20 books with Shutterfly and been happy with all of them. You can upload your pics and try it out for free to, BTW. Give it a try...

Put me down as a big Blurb fan with many books over the years (almost 20). Fantastic software and frequent deals like some of the others.
