Used 1 time. I was going to use this lens for duel purpose portrait and macro but decided against the portrait use. I use a 70-200 instead. It does make a good portrait lens and the image quality is indistinguishable from the L version of the lens. (I own both the lenses)
This is the Non-L version. List for $599 on B&H.
I purchased the lens from B&H 1.5 years ago.
Will sell for $400... What they typically go for at auction on Ebay.
Obviously the lens is in excellent shape. I do not have the original packaging.
If you're interested PM me and I will invoice you via paypal. Once payment is received I will ship the following day.
(Yes it does come with the Hoya filter)
Thanks

can the 70-200 be used for macro?

No. Requires special optics to allow for a close focus. 70-200 wouldn't allow you to get close and keep the subject on focus. This lens does do very well at portraits.
Just sold mine for $650 to a Hog...

Sounds about right for that lens. I just reduced mine by $20 to
$380. Tried to find one (non Japanese) that sold for less on ebay and couldn't do it. Especially one used this little. It's in perfect condition. I can't tell the difference between this one and the L one. I have both. I just don't shoot macro.
I'm interested and just sent you a PM.
