Why I Mow My Own Lawn - Lee Trevino: a true story, you gotta love him.
One day, shortly after joining the PGA tour in 1965, Lee Trevino, a professional golfer and married man, was at his home in Dallas, Texas,
mowing his front lawn, as he always did.
A lady driving by in a big, shiny Cadillac stopped in front of his house, lowered the window and asked, Excuse me, do you speak English?"
Lee responded, Yes Ma'am, I do."
The lady then asked, What do you charge to do yard work?
Lee said, "Well, the lady in this house lets me sleep with her."
The lady hurriedly put the car into gear and sped off.

a new idea to try!
the little lady is still cranky because I bought her a snow blower for Christmas ( with lessons )
Lee Trevino was one of a kind!
I have not heard that one for 50 years or more.
It was funnier the first time.

I can't imagine why! Lucky you're still walking around. LOL
I am not a wealthy man. I'm not poor by any means but I've always had to do most home repair, yard work etc. myself.
One day when my younger daughter was probably around 8 or 9 she said "why are you mowing the grass, people will think you're the gardener."
I was flabbergasted.
This has become part of the family lore that I use to tease her with whenever appropriate.
Trevino had one of the best golf tips of all time. Always throw your golf clubs down the fairway, so you don't have to walk back to pick them up.
