A Squirrel wanted a treat.

Went to Eden Park to see what I could see . . . I found a squirrel really wanting a snack. Unfortunately I didn't have anything but he was pretty friendly and followed me around.
Good shot, Bwarn. Squirrels seem to be almost a curious of us as they are afraid. I have some slides from about 25 years ago of a squirrel in the oak tree in our front yard. He got just far enough away so he thought he was safe to check me out.
Have to squirrel baby's this spring. One was pestering mother to nurse while she was feeding. Last week one, unfamiliar with humans, came very close until he/she realized that humans move.
nice shot-very cute little fellow
Several years ago when I was a policeman, I was sent on a call where the people had a wild squirrel in their house. I didn't know squirrels could be that fast or get into such TINY places. I had a pair of heavy work gloves along and finally got him. But he got me to, one pretty good bite. They do get excited :-D :-D

Thanks. He was very curious. People come and feed the ducks and I'm sure he's enjoyed the food too he would come close to me about 3 feet away.
