The injured eagle seemed to know that the vets were trying to help him. Good thing - given the size of those talons it could have been a very dicey situation if he had declined their attentions.

thank you for sharing the link.. I never would have known about how large those talons are. I hope he made out ok after they let him go.. I'm surprised they didn't keep him for a while (they may have, I just wasn't made obvious..)
