I'm very fortunate to have a weekly gathering of this sort so nearby.
With every passing week I'm getting more familiar with my camera. But this event poses a lot of challenges, and I typically come away disappointed with the quality of my photos.
But I'll keep trying. :)
There's nothing disappointing about these photo's. Great pictures of some great classic cars.

Thank you for your kind comment! When you've got an awesome subject, photo "mis-fires" are frequently overlooked! :)
(I was surprised at the lens flare in the Old Guys Rule shot. Where did that come from?).
Many, many thanks for the description of cars.. Hate it when people post car pictures and do not name them...

I love cars and car shows, thanks for posting your great shots.
Probably came from the sun, a lens hood will take care of that. The rims on that white mustang look like "Keystone Mags", I had a set of those on a 73 Javelin I had back in the day.

Did someone say "Javelin?" :)
(Sorry I don't have a better angle).

Thanks for trying and sharing
Hi Fred, love your photo. I have a question. How are you able to post more than three images. Whenever I try, the site will only let me post three.

After you hit the "Send" button and your first three photos display, there is a link at the bottom of your message, "Add Attachment." When you click this you can add a photo. Do this repeatedly.
I believe you have a fifteen minute window in which you can modify your post and/or add items to it. I don't know if there's a limit to the number, though.
Thanks Fred, I hope to post some from Indy in early June.
