Got a few shots of my, Carrizo Dwarf Meyer Lemon tree. He's about one year old. Actually just moved him outside a few days ago. They don't like the temp to drop below 40 degrees. Shots are split between my Pentax MX-1 and Fuji X-S1.

Great shots! How many years does it take the lemon to bear fruit or do you have to have a greenhouse for it to do so?

Thanks for the nice comment. I don't use a greenhouse, but I do keep it in a heated sunroom through the winter months. The last photo shows a lemon bud just starting out. They are ever-bearing after the first year. Ripening occurs in the winter months.

Yep, we have rain and a "frost" warning for this evening. I finally took my lemon tree outside and now I've got to bring it back inside. Sheesh. Go figure. Thanks for stopping by.

Great series.

Please send some of the rain to San Diego. We need it badly. A few inches of rain right now would be a life saver for lot of wild plants and animals in our hills and canyons.

Thanks for the comment wings42. I wish I could send a few inches of rain your way. We're not getting any more than usual this time of year, but we have had several days of rain for 8 to 10 hrs straight. I kinda like though, everything is waking up from the winter slumber.
