I just want to thank everyone for helping me make my decision in buying either a D5300 or a D7100 well I made my decision I bought the D7100 with a 18-140 lens. I have a few pictures and I love it so far. I have not learned everything about the camera as of yet like really on a 1/4 of what it n do. I am uploading a few photos.

Great choice as D7100 is top of the line for Nikon crop camera - will serve you well for a long time. Sill learning the ins and outs on mine.
