This little rain frog lived in a big planter. On this day, a pine straw was caught under his front leg. I have used this picture on a lot of birthday cards with musical notes scattered around and the words, "Let the music begin!" Maybe he is the leader of the frog chorus we hear on summer nights. The second picture of him is clearly a smile. He is pleased with his performance. You may use these pictures if you wish. Let me see your frog pictures.

TraceyG and ftpecktim, do you have any frog pictures? This little guy stayed around for several weeks before moving on.

I only have one, it's kinda pornographic....LOL...and not even exciting, it was taking place on my front windowsill.

It's strange, we have a koi pond in the back yard, and in the spring/summer/fall I hear them at night all the time, yet I don't see them very often.

Belwj, your Costa Rican frog is beautiful. I have never seen a purple frog. The second one blends well with his surroundings. Thanks to you and TraceyG for sharing.

I saw something on Animal Planet (I think) about how many frog species are going extinct...and how catastrophic this is....kinda scary, actually, more than kinda!
