My wife has an a77 and I purchased this lens for her last year. She has used it maybe 20 frames worth, but can't deal with weight. She has given permission to sell so I can get something for my Nikon. It retailed for $1249.00 and I will let it go for $900.00. Still have everything it came with.
someone is going to get a good deal--would fit my camera but at this time my funds are going for traveling

Hi Kwbybee,
I have some interest in your lens, it should accommodate the A700 - correct? However, I would very much like to see both - pictures of it and pictures from it. Then perhaps we can work something out. Thanks
I'm glad to your interested. I took the lens to my local camera shop where I purchased it to have it inspected and also to see about a trade if I couldn't sell it. Much to my surprise it had a problem. I wasn't aware of it because I haven't used it nor my wife for over 6 months. Anyway it is being sent to Sigma for warranty repair. I'm sorry to say that will take 6-8 weeks. As soon as I get it back if your still interested, I will send any pictures you want. This is the only photo I took with my wife's camera and the Sigma

Out of the 20 frames your wife took, is there not one you can post w/store original so we can download to get a better look. A 53kb image isn't detailed enough to see the overall IQ.
Try these from Cinque Terre, Italy. The first one is the only one on tripod, others hand held. I uploaded 1064x1064 jpeg, tried png but it wouldn't go.

Again small thumbnails....I'll just look elsewhere. Thanks anyway and good luck with your sale
