Tamron 150-600mm Nikon update

I have one of these on order.
Today, my local dealer received only one lens, which went to the first customer on his list.
He called Tamron, and they said they had shipped fifteen total in the U.S., but some more would ship the end of May, middle of June, and the end of June.

I guess that is much better than none, now we know that the lens is at least shipping. thanks for the update.

The Nikon version is now on Amazon from a couple of non Amazon sellers.
But the cheapest price is $1600 :(

CORRECTION: NOT FIFTEEN
Quote my dealer, "Unfortunately, less than 50 of those lenses were delivered to photographers in the USA."
