I've not had much success in finding out the zoom range of this camera. All I get is "5X zoom". To my uninitiated mind this could be from 10mm to 50mm or 1000mm to 5000mm? I'm not very familiar with photography sites, so probably have done less research than I could. However, UHH members have been so consistently helpful that I felt I could put my question out for advice. Thanks in advance.

28-140mm equivalent, f1.8-2.8 lens. So, a limited medium zoom, a fair wide angle, and a fast lens ("should" do well in low light).
