It's like the fastest gun in the west. There's always someone faster.
If this had taken place a few years alter, an astronaut in orbit could have asked for his speed, and he would have trumped the SR-71 pilot.

Jerry, I believe there has been a reprint at an enormous price (+$400). I was lucky enough to find one in our GA library system. Great read.

I'll keep my eyes open. I've seen out-of-print books on Amazon with ridiculous prices, but then someone will off it for a few dollars.
