It works like a magnet attracting the dust....duh.
Obviously, you have dust bunnies under your bed, right? Roll this baby right on under the bed and when you retrieve it...dust bunnies are captured. Don't ask me how to cook one though, never tried one.

i've found it tends to gum up the shutter curtains after a few applications

I use a product called Ultra Duster to clean the keyboard on my computer and I can't tell it does that much good.
