I find it very easy to take 500 shots in a few hours, especially with the burst mode on the SX50 :)

I had it set for 4 frames per second, and still missed 90 percent of them, if you don't see them coming you have no chance. Yup, great fun with lots of action that day.

I was surprised at the shallow DOF, not having time to actually focus on the bird coming in I pre-focus on the end of the feeder, if they land on the far side, only about 10 or 12 inches, then they are noticeably out of focus.
